GILLETTE STADIUM FUNDRAISER IN A NUTSHELL
We manage a concession booth at Gillette Stadium under the direction of a supervisor who works for Gillette. We receive a percentage of our sales and all tips. Each event requires 10 to 14 people and can run 6 to 10 hours depending on the event. It is very rewarding and you can meet great people who are also involved in the music program.
The money we raise which is about $30,000 per year, goes towards the King Philip music program including tri town elementary school programming. The music program includes voice, instrumental and co curricular(marching band, jazz, indoor and world percussion, winter guard, chambers, etc)
In a nutshell, we inventory our stand as soon as we arrive, start cooking, put money in the cash drawers, sell, sell, sell and clean up with a closing inventory.
