Hello KP Marching Band families!  Join us September 13th for our annual preview show!  We will have chili and hotdogs.  Soda and candy will be available for sale.

FOOTBALL PEP BAND PERFORMANCES
FRIDAYS  (Thanksgiving a.m. game)


5:30 PM Arrive and warmup in sections
6:00 PM Full Band in the Band Room
6:45 PM Prepare to go out to the stadium
9:15 PM Approximate end of game


We will not perform the show at this game
Dress code is green & gold (KP gear)
Color Guard members who play an instrument are welcome to play with the band or attend and sit in the stands
All Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, and Percussion Ensemble members are welcome!​

MARCHING BAND UNIFORM INFO
2025 Season 
​

Performer Uniform (Horns, Percussion, Drum Majors)
  • BLACK undershirt
  • LONG BLACK socks (calf length)
  • Black marching shoes
  • Marching band uniform (provided)
  • Gloves (drum majors only)
  • Hair should be neatly groomed. Any hair that touches the performer’s shoulders will be pulled back into a ponytail. Any hair accessories will be discreet and match the performer’s hair color.
  • No jewelry may be worn in uniform including watches, chains, or piercings. If a piercing can not be removed it must be covered with a Band Aid that matches the performer’s skin tone.

THINGS TO TAKE TO BAND CAMP

  • Sleeping Bag, pillow, bedroll or blankets
  • Sheet to put on camp mattress 
  • 2 Towels (bath and beach), washcloths
  • Toiletries: Antiperspirant/deodorant, soap, toothbrush, etc.
  • Clothing for one week (summer apparel and warm jackets, pants, sweatshirts)
  • Socks, Socks and more Socks. Student suggestions: 3-4 pair/day, or all the socks you own!
  • Swimsuit and flip flops for shower and beach
  • Sneakers: two pairs HIGHLY recommended if we have rain.  (Parents recommend Marathon Sports in Mansfield and DB Sports in North Attleboro as a good places to be fitted for supportive athletic shoes but not required)
  • Hats with visors or visors are REQUIRED for everyone
  • One gallon thermos or water jug with your name like this.
  • Instrument, music, valve oil, reeds, slide oil, sticks/mallets, drum pads.
  • Color Guard: gloves, shoes, tape and band aids
  • Sunscreen, sunglasses, bug spray, lip balm
  • Plastic bag to bring home wet articles at end of week
  • Flash light with working batteries
  • Contacts and glasses (bring extras)
  • Alarm clock (or iPod, phone etc.)
  • Charging Cords
  • Money (for food stop to/from camp)
  • Sweatshirt/sweater and jacket, it will get cold at night
  • Raingear!!
  • Students are allowed to pack 2 items: sleeping bag/bed roll and suitcase. Backpacks will be on the bus with them.
